JIJEL
Jijel occupies an important strategic position in the north-east of Algeria. It rests on a coastline of more than 120 km; this allows it to play an essential role as port gateway for the wilayas of the center and the south of the country, while it is geographically confined between latitudes 5 ° 25′ and 6 ° 30′ to the East, and 36 ° 31 ’36’ 56 ‘Northern Latitudes, covering an area of 2,398 km2.
